“Feminism, by definition, is the belief that men and women should have equal rights and opportunities. It is the theory of the political, economic and social equality of the sexes.”

– Emma Watson, UN Women Goodwill Ambassador

The modern American workforce is almost half female, yet women make up only 4.1% of Fortune 500 CEOs and take home an average of $.81 for every man’s dollar.*  Women, for the most part, are looking to change this – for obvious reasons!  But when only half a population wants change, progress can be slow to achieve. *(U.S. Department of Labor Report:  Women in the Labor Force in 2010)

Luckily for women, men, and their companies, true gender equality at work will be a win-win-win situation.  Evidence is piling up in support of gender diversity’s net positive impact on a company’s bottom line.  And men who co-lead the way, side by side with their female colleagues, have much to gain from moving gender parity forward.

Join us Tuesday evening, April 25th for a moderated group discussion around the issues surrounding gender equality in the workplace today, share your experiences, hear from others and learn practical tips for taking action to promote gender diversity in your company.

This is a FREE event for WICT members only +1 guest each.
Bring a male colleague to add valuable perspective to the discussion!
